2008 Glen Moray, 14 year-old, 51.7%

Lovely vanilla notes combine with lemon citrus and some restrained smokiness. Crunchy cereal notes and earthiness combine with sweet cut grass and maderised zing to give a nicely combined compote. Vanilla bursts forth. The earthier notes seep through followed by some banana and melon. It holds well on the palate with no dominant element but graceful and nicely bound.
