A very complex red with crushed berries, bark, stone, and flint on the nose. Full-bodied and powerful, with firm, fine tannins running the length of the wine, and notes of cedar and mushroom emerging on the finish. Striking purity, precision, and depth, with white pepper, violets, and blue fruit — chalky, reactive tannins create real tension and verticality.
