2023 Castell d’Encus, EKAM Essencia

A Spätlese-style white with notes of fine kerosene, fresh grapefruit, and ripe peach. Pale straw yellow in color, it shows a vibrant, fresh entry on the palate balanced by natural sweetness, with a very persistent, almost saline finish — drawing comparisons to the great German Rieslings of the Mosel.
